James Wan & Alexandre Aja Team Up for Smart House
Yes, you read that right. The mind behind the Saw, Insidious, and The Conjuring franchises is teaming up with the madman behind High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes remake, and Piranha 3D. The project they are working on is titled Smart House and it promises to blend the worlds of high technology and good old-fashioned gore. Smart House is still in development, so there is no casting news yet, but as soon as the cast drop, you’ll be the first to know. Check out the plot:
Set in a world of smart phones and smart cars, and a family in the witness protection program placed in the custody of a state of the art, autonomous ‘smart house.’ When a group of assassins locates the family, the smart house goes into a lethal defense mode.
I don’t know about you, but my mind is racing with all the potential awesomeness this movie could be!! I’ll update as more information becomes available.
