Not Good News if You’re Jason or a Zombie!! WWZ2 & Friday the 13th Get Pulled

According to Deadline.com, Paramount has pulled both WORLD WAR Z 2 and the new FRIDAY THE 13TH off their schedule. One of the reasons seems to be the lackluster reception the recently released RINGS had at the box office. As for WWZ2, this production has been plagued from the outset. Script problems and an unhappy director are just two of the reasons. WWZ2 was previously scheduled to drop on June 9th, and now this leaves Universal’s reboot of The Mummy, starring Tom Cruise, to have a solo debut with no competition.

At least we’re being spared what would inevitably be two less than stellar films.
