Rob Zombie’s 31 Gets New Poster & Release Date
Rob Zombie’s 31 is a film I’ve been following for over a year now, and I love it when everything starts to come together. Love him or hate him, Rob Zombie makes some damn fine horror films that are uncompromising in his vision and deliver on the gore. I’m happy to report that there’s some good news with his upcoming 31. The film has a new poster and has a release date for a theatrical release!! But first, check out the plot crunch:
31 follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large secret compound known as Murder World. Once there, they have 12 hours to survive a terrifying game called 31 in which “The Heads” – murderous maniacs dressed as clowns – are released to hunt them down and kill them.
31 stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Pancho Moler, Lew Temple, Malcolm McDowell, Meg Foster, Judy Geeson, Jane Carr, Ginger Lynn, Daniel Roebuck, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Tracy Walter, E.G. Daily, Torsten Voges, David Ury, Bari Suzuki, Devin Sidell, Kevin Jackson, and Richard Brake. Check out the new poster:
Zombie also predicts that the character in 31 named Doom-Head is destined to become the “next great villain of horror”. As for the release date, Saban Films has confirmed that 31 will be released On Demand on September 16, 2016, with a limited theatrical release on October 21, 2016. So mark your calendars!! Noe dig on the trailer:
And below is a little glimpse of Doom-Head, in case you haven’t seen him before. Enjoy!!
