Rob Zombie’s eagerly anticipated–at least for me–new film 31 will be having its world premier at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. 31 is of course written and directed by Zombie and stars a cornucopia of horror icons including Malcolm McDowell, Sherri Moon Zombie, Meg Foster, Judy Geeson, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Jane Carr, Richard Brake, Ginger Lynn, David Ury, Daniel Roebuck, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Pancho Moler, Tracy Walter, E.G. Daily, Torsten Voges, Lew Temple, Bari Suzuki, and Devin Sidell. Check out the plot crunch:

31 follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large secret compound known as Murder World. Once there, they have 12 hours to survive a terrifying game called 31 in which “The Heads” – murderous maniacs dressed as clowns – are released to hunt them down and kill them.

31 looks like it might be Zombie’s best effort yet, and with characters with names like Schizo-Head, Psycho-Head, Sick-Head, and Death-Head (Torsten Voges), a character Zombie describes as, “Six feet, nine inches of destruction,” how can this film not kick some major ass??
