New International Poster & Trailer Drop for Baskin

Not sure where this film came from, but I hate that it has escaped my radar for this long!! The Turkish horror film BASKIN seems like a scary, nightmarish journey into evil that looks right up my alley. From the looks of the trailer, imagine if William Friedkin and Lucio Fulci made a movie together.
Exactly.
BASKIN is directed by Can Evrenol, is written by Evrenol, Ogulcan Eren Akay, Cem Ozuduru, and Ercin Sadikoglu, and stars Muharrem Bayrak, Mehmet Akif Budak, and Fadik Bülbül. Check out the plot crunch:
Five cops working the graveyard shift in the middle of nowhere are dispatched to investigate a disturbance. Isolated and without back-up, they find themselves confronting a labyrinthine ruin. Pushing ever further into the depths of the lair, it becomes clear they have stumbled into the darkest pits of a terrible evil… a squalid and blood-soaked den of ritual led by The Father – the master of all their nightmares – who will plunge them ever deeper down the rabbit hole and into the very mouth of madness.
BASKIN is hitting theaters in Germany and Turkey this January 2016, but there is still no word about when it will be released in America. But be patient; IFC Midnight will be releasing it in North America at some point in 2016. For now, check out the trailer:
