Official Theatrical Trailer Drops for Dwelling

The haunted house/possessed mirror film DWELLING has released its official theatrical trailer. DWELLING is written and directed by Kyle Mecca and stars Erin Marie Hogan, Mu-Shaka BensonDevanny Pinn, Abigail Mary, Bill Brown, Josie DiVincenzo, and Alexandra Merritt Mathews. Check out the plot crunch:

Dwelling 1

A young couple deliberately moves into a haunted house to contact the other side. Until their conduit, a painted black mirror proves to contain a malevolent presence hell-bent on bringing harm to their new family.

Let’s all thank Hollywood for another original horror film, shall we!! Maybe the trailer will blow our socks off:

…or maybe not. Sorry to sound so cynical here, folks–as in my previous article on ANGUISH–but I’m just getting tired of getting the same formulaic crap from Hollywood. I can even hear the Hollywood executives: “No no no… this films is unique. It has a haunted house and a possessed mirror in it.” Hopefully this one will surprise us.

Stay Bloody!!!

Ok, with mirrors we had the occulus. Also The Mirror, about a mirror purchased on eBay. I like the mirror hauntings but hope what the dwelling will be scary. Is this to much to ask from haunted horror.

    Hey guys,
first i want to say thank you to Anything Horror for sharing our movie!
You may or may not know that I am an indie girl and a huge fan of horror so i strive to act in films that i think horror fans will enjoy. Dwelling does touch on elements you may have seen in studio pictures, but i promise its being made by fans of the genre who want to reach people here more than entertain the masses.
The filmmakers worked very hard on this, its something we are all proud of and we all hope you will check it out when it releases. We welcome feedback good or bad after you’ve seen it, it helps me know what you awesome horror peeps enjoy!
    Bloody kisses,
    Devanny Pinn
