Trailer Drops for the Wedding Horror Film, Bite
As if weddings weren’t horrifying enough!! I mean seriously, what’s worse than having to ruin your entire weekend to get dressed up in an uncomfortable suit and go watch two people get hitched? Well the upcoming film BITE just made the experience even more harrowing. BITE is directed by Chad Archibald, is written by Jayme Laforest (from a story by Archibald), and stars Elma Begovic, Annette Wozniak, Jordan Gray, Lawrene Denkers, Denise Yuen, and Tianna Nori. Check out the plot summary:
While on her bachelorette party getaway, Casey, the bride to be, gets a seemingly harmless bite from an unknown insect. After returning home with cold feet, Casey tries to call off her wedding but before she’s able to, she starts exhibiting insect like traits. Between her physical transformation and her wedding anxiety, Casey succumbs to her new instincts and begins creating a hive that not only houses her translucent eggs, but feeds on the flesh of others. As her transformation becomes complete, Casey discovers that everything can change with a single bite.
From the description, this sounds as though it could journey into the realm of the horror-comedy, but on the IMDb page it is listed as just a horror film. That makes me feel better. There’s no release date set yet, so in the meantime you can dig on the trailer:

Interesting, not a bad trailer. But I’m so tired of trailers giving away everything, including what I assume to be the close-to-final transformation.
