International Trailer Drops for Harbinger Down, & it Kicks Ass!!

Harbinger Down posterThe more I read about the upcoming film HARBINGER DOWN, the more excited I get. News of this one has circulated for a long time and I think due to a successful crowd-sourcing campaign we’re finally seeing this one ready for release. HARBINGER DOWN is a Lance Henriksen-starring creature feature that is being compared to Carpenter’s THE THING. HARBINGER DOWN is written and directed by Alec Gillis and in addition to Henriksen, stars Matt Winston, Camille Balsamo, Giovonnie Samuels, Winston James Francis, and Michael Estime. HARBINGER DOWN also boasts using practical effects for the creatures, which has fans even more eager to see it. Check out the plot crunch:

A group of grad students have booked passage on the fishing trawler Harbinger to study the effects of global warming on a pod of Orcas in the Bering Sea. When the ship’s crew dredges up a recently thawed piece of old Soviet space wreckage, things get downright deadly. It seems that the Russians experimented with tardigrades, tiny resilient animals able to withstand the extremes of space radiation. The creatures survived, but not without mutation.

Now the crew is exposed to aggressively mutating organisms. And after being locked in ice for 3 decades, the creatures aren’t about to give up the warmth of human companionship.

Check out the international trailer below and tell me you aren’t excited to see this one!! Look for HARBINGER DOWN to be released on VOD and in limited theatres on August 7, 2015, followed by a home video release September 1, 2015.

Stay Bloody!!!
