New Trailer Drops for Joe Dante’s Burying the Ex

We’re now in June and that means it’s about to get extremely hot in Austin, TX, that we’re now four months away from Halloween, and that Joe Dante’s new, crowd-funded film, BURYING THE EX, is almost upon us. BURYING THE EX is directed by Dante, written by Alan Trezza, and stars Anton Yelchin, Ashley Greene, Alexandra Daddario, Oliver Cooper, Erica Bowie, and Dick Miller. Check out the plot crunch:

When Max (Yelchin) learns that his new live-in girlfriend, Evelyn (Greene) is controlling and manipulative, he is afraid to end the relationship. However, fate occurs and Evelyn is killed in a freak accident. A couple months have passed and Max meets his dream girl, Olivia (Daddario). The new romance gets tricky when Evelyn comes back from the grave and insists on continuing their once relationship by all means.

Joe Dante should need no introduction. He’s the director of the original PIRANHA, THE HOWLING, GREMLINS 1 & 2, and about thirty-two other horror projects. Now get a taste of the trailer:

BURYING MY EX is slated for a June 19, 2015 theatrical and VOD release. This is Dante’s first feature film since 2009s THE HOLE and I, for one, am glad to see him back.
