First Footage Drops for Upcoming Fear the Walking Dead

I’ve tried, I really have. I’ve given THE WALKING DEAD so many chances and I just can’t get into it. But now there’s a new kid on the block, THE WALKING DEAD spinoff, FEAR THE WALKING DEAD (I really hate the title). FEAR THE WALKING DEAD will air Summer 2015 and AMC has given us a first look. The spinoff will center on all new characters and storylines and will expand upon the world created in the main show.

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD is created by Dave Erickson and Robert Kirkman and is being executive produced by Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, and David Alpert. The show stars Rubén Blades, Mercedes Mason, Cliff Curtis, Alycia Debnam Carey, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Lorenzo James Henrie, and Elizabeth Rodriguez. Check out the plot crunch:

What did the world look like as it was transforming into the horrifying apocalypse depicted in “The Walking Dead”? This spin-off set in Los Angeles, following new characters as they face the beginning of the end of the world, will answer that question.
