We Are Still Here Gets a Release Date

We Are Still Here posterOne of the most anticipated horror films of 2015 that I’ve been patiently waiting for is WE ARE STILL HERE. This film is written and directed by Ted Geoghegan and is based on a story by Richard Griffin. WE ARE STIL HERE stars Anything Horror fav, Barbara Crampton, Andrew SensenigLisa Marie, Larry Fessenden, Monte Markham, and Susan Gibney.

Dark Sky Films recently announced the release of WE ARE STILL HERE, and the good news is that it’ll be released sooner than I thought. The film is now slated to drop on June 5, 2015 in theaters and on VOD. WE ARE STILL HERE is being hailed as a new take on the haunted house genre, which is something we desperately need. The film also includes drama and comedy into the story without sacrificing any of the horror elements. Check out the plot crunch:

After the death of their college age son, Anne and Paul Sacchetti relocate to the snowswept New England hamlet of Aylesbury, a sleepy village where all is most certainly not as it seems. When strange sounds and eerie feelings convince Anne that her son’s spirit is still with them, they invite an eccentric, New Age couple to help them get to the bottom of the mystery. They discover that not only are the house’s first residents, the vengeful Dagmar family, still there – but so is an ancient power. A primal darkness slumbers under the old home, waking up every thirty years and demanding the fresh blood of a new family.
