TV Show, Damien, Moves to A&E

Last year the news dropped that THE OMEN would be making the leap to the small screen. Originally the series was going to be aired on the Lifetime Network because, ya know, when you think of horror, you think of Lifetime!! Well we finally have an update. The show, titled DAMIEN, has been moved to A&E and I think we can all be grateful for that. Since DAMIEN has moved to A&E, Now that it’s found a new home at A&E, the show has grown bigger than originally planned. Originally only six episodes was going to make up the show’s first season. That number has now jumped up to ten.

DAMIEN follows Damien Thorn (being played by Bradley James) as he’s all grown up. That odd little kid from the 1976 film THE OMEN has grown up and is apparently oblivious to the fact that he’s the Antichrist!! Now Damien must come to terms with his true destiny and accept that he’s the most feared man throughout the ages.

As Rob Sharenow, EVP and general manager of A&E, says:

A&E’s unwavering commitment to high quality original scripted drama programming, coupled with the sizable fan-base for our hit series Bates Motel, which so perfectly aligns with Damien, make the network the ideal fit for this exceptional show.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to seeing Damien Thorn on the small screen?

Stay Bloody!!!

  1. This feels like a great companion piece to Bates Motel, which has become one of my favorite shows this season.

  2. Lear says:

I will check out Damien . You can’t go wrong with a classic just hope it stays in line with original.
