First Ash Vs Evil Dead Teaser Drops

Starz has recently dropped the first teaser for the upcoming television series, ASH VS. EVIL DEAD.

Bruce Campbell is once again wielding his chainsaw and ‘boom stick’ and taking on the Deadites as Ash Williams, an aging slacker who’s spent the last thirty years avoiding maturity and the Evil Dead. But those plucky little demons are back, and when a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, he’s forced to face his demons. The series also stars Lucy Lawless and Jill Marie Jones.

Lawless plays Ruby, a mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks; Jill Marie Jones plays Amanda Fisher, a disgraced Michigan State Trooper set to find our anti-hero Ash and prove his responsibility in the grisly murder of her partner; and Ray Santiago plays Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash’s loyal sidekick. Dana DeLorenzo also stars.

ASH VS. EVIL DEAD will be a ten-episode series premiering later this year and is produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Campbell. Raimi is directing the first episode from a script he wrote with Ivan Raimi and Tom Spezialy. Check out the teaser below:
