Paramount Juggles Around Some Horror Titles

Paramount mearsI’m gonna approach this in a positive light. Paramount studios has three familiar horror films from three well known franchises planned for this year (or at least they did). The executives over at Paramount have been juggling the release dates and this is what they’ve decided on:

Paramount has set a November 2015 release date for RINGS, a reboot of THE RING franchise, and has moved back the release dates for both PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE GHOST DIMENSION and the next FRIDAY THE 13TH reboot. The next PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, the sixth in the horror franchise, will now open on October 23, 2015, pushed back from its original March 13, 2015 date.

Paramount’s FRIDAY THE 13TH reboot, originally set for Nov. 13, 2015, will now open on May 13, 2016. This is the second time the reboot has been delayed. It was previously set to open on March 13, 2015 before being pushed back for SCOUTS VS. ZOMBIES, which has itself been pushed back to October 30, 2015.

Why all the shuffling around? Rumor has it that FRIDAY THE 13TH has been moved back because there’s either no script yet or that the script in existence hasn’t been officially approved. We’ll see!!

Stay Bloody!!!

    • As far as I’m concerned the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY franchise is dead!! Instead of trying and rebooting the FRIDAY THE 13th franchise why not just make a new F13 movie? What’s gonna be soooooo different in the reboot?
